SACAS Explores the Future of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The Department of Bank Management, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), S.A. College of Arts & Science, organised a Guest Lecture on “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” on 13 July 2026 at the SACAS Auditorium. The session was delivered by Mr. Matthews Arockiasamy from the Indian Institute of Logistics, Egmore.

The resource person explained the fundamentals of logistics and supply chain management and highlighted their importance in global trade and business growth. Students gained insights into emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, and warehouse automation. The session also covered the National Logistics Policy (2022), PM GatiShakti, ULIP, and career opportunities in the logistics sector.
Through real-world case studies and industry examples, the lecture enhanced students’ understanding of modern supply chain practices and encouraged them to develop the skills required for successful careers in this rapidly growing industry.
