The School of Management, S.A. College of Arts & Science, organized an Alumni Talk titled “Skill Up, Stand Out” on 11 August 2026 at the SACAS Theatre. The session aimed to equip students with practical skills and insights for building successful careers.

The Principal delivered a special address, encouraging students to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills to meet the changing demands of the corporate world. He emphasized the importance of learning beyond the classroom and making effective use of career opportunities.

The guest speaker, Mr. P. Lingasan, Coder Consultant, TCS, shared valuable insights from his journey from college to corporate life. He highlighted the importance of learning AI tools and using technology effectively in the workplace. He also guided students on building professional networks through LinkedIn and connecting with industry experts.

The session covered practical strategies for cracking interviews, earning certifications through reputed free online courses, and developing professional connections that can open doors to placements and international career opportunities. The engaging talk motivated students to continuously develop their skills, build strong networks, and stand out in the competitive job market.
