The Department of Psychology, S.A. College of Arts and Science, is organizing an awareness programme titled “Ambition Over Addiction” to create awareness among students about the physical, psychological, social, and academic consequences of addiction. The programme aims to encourage young minds to understand the risks associated with addictive behaviours and to make informed, healthy, and responsible choices. It will also focus on developing positive ambitions, building healthy coping strategies, and motivating students to lead purposeful and fulfilling lives. The session will be facilitated by Ms. Valli, Senior Counsellor, TTK Hospitals, who will share valuable insights and practical guidance on overcoming addiction and promoting mental well-being. The programme will be held on 20 August 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Auditorium.
