S.A. College of Arts & Science successfully hosted the University of Madras B-Zone (Men) Tournament 2026–27

S.A. College of Arts & Science successfully hosted the University of Madras B-Zone (Men) Tournament 2026–27 in Ball Badminton, Badminton and Tennis from 27 to 28 August 2026 on its campus. A total of 42 colleges participated with enthusiasm, competitive spirit and sportsmanship.

In Badminton, D.G. Vaishnav College emerged winner, followed by S.A. College of Arts & Science, Madras Christian College and Vivekananda College. In Ball Badminton, Nazareth College secured the title, with Vivekananda College, S.A. College of Arts & Science and A.M. Jain College finishing second, third and fourth respectively. In Tennis, D.G. Vaishnav College won, followed by Avichi College, S.A. College of Arts & Science and Sindhi College.

The prizes were distributed by Dr. S. Anbalagan, Principal, and Dr. K. S. Prabakar, Director – Administration & Career Development Cell. Correspondent Thiru. P. Venkatesh Raja congratulated the winners and organizers. The tournament was coordinated by Dr. A. Ramakrishnan, Director of Physical Education, along with R. Hari Babu and C. Devapriya, Assistant Directors of Physical Education.
