S.A. Film Academy (SAFA), a part of S.A. Institutions, successfully conducted its Induction Day Programme for the 2026–27 batch on 16 September 2026, marking the beginning of a new journey for aspiring filmmakers. The programme was conducted under the guidance and direction of Thiru P. Venkatesh Raja, Correspondent, S.A. Institutions.

The programme commenced with the Welcome Address by Asst. Prof. M r. Arul Prince RAAJ A.R.R., Department of Visual Communication, followed by a Special Address by Dr. S. Anbalagan, Principal, S.A. College of Arts and Science.

The event was graced by prominent personalities from the Tamil film industry, including Thiru R.K. Selvamani, President, FEFSI; Thiru R.V. Udayakumar, Former President, TANTIS; filmmaker Thiru N. Lingusamy; and cinematographer Thiru G.P. Krishna.

The chief guests felicitated the students and delivered inspiring and motivational addresses, encouraging them to pursue their passion for cinema with dedication, discipline and creativity. They also shared valuable experiences from their journeys in the film industry and assured their support and guidance for the students’ professional growth.

The programme concluded with an overview and Vote of Thanks by Prof. R.D. Balaji, Director, SAFA.
