S.A. College of Arts & Science successfully hosted EduInspire’26 – “From Best Practice to Next Practice: Recognizing Educational Excellence”, a National Level Best Practices Event organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Faculty Enrichment Committee on 22 August 2026 at the SACAS Auditorium. The event brought together academicians and educators from across India to showcase and share innovative practices in higher education. Over 41 colleges and universities participated in the event.
The programme was curated by the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja and graced by the Principal Dr. S. Anbalagan and Director of CDC & Administration, Dr. K. S. Prabhakar, who addressed the participants and shared valuable insights. The distinguished jury comprised Dr. S. Senthilnathan, Programme Director, UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Bharathidasan University, and Dr. M. C. Sethuraman, Former Dean and Honorary Emeritus Professor, The Gandhigram Rural Institute.
The event featured guest sessions, best-practice presentations, networking opportunities and an awards ceremony with cash prizes totalling ₹1 lakh. Hindustan Arts Science College secured the First Prize, followed by Alliance University in Second Place, Kristu Jayanti Deemed to be University, Bengaluru in Third Place, D. B. Jain College in Fourth Place, and Fatima College for Women, Madurai in Fifth Place. The Audience Poll Prize was awarded to Kanchi Mamunivar Government Institute for Post Graduate Studies and Research.
EduInspire’26 provided a meaningful platform for learning, collaboration, recognition and the transformation of best practices into next practices in higher education.

SACAS Organizes Invited Talk on Publishing Research Articles in Quality Journals
The Research and Development Cell, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), of S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS), Chennai, organized an invited talk titled "Publishing Research Articles in Quality Journals: The Nuts and Bolts" on 11 July 2026 at the SACAS Theatre. The day-long programme, held from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., was conducted to strengthen the research and publication skills of faculty members and research scholars. The resource person, Dr. S. Senthilnathan, Programme Director, UGC–Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre and Professor, Department of Educational Technology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, delivered an insightful session on journal selection, indexing, manuscript preparation, publication ethics, peer review, and avoiding predatory journals. He also highlighted the ethical use of AI tools and web-based research resources for literature review, reference management, and improving research quality and impact. The interactive programme provided participants with practical strategies to enhance their scholarly publications.
