SACAS Students Lead Census 2027 Awareness Rally.

S.A. College of Arts & Science organized the Census 2027 Awareness Rally on 23 July 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The rally began from the college campus and proceeded to Kaduvetti, aiming to create public awareness about the importance of the upcoming Census 2027.

Around 50 students actively participated in the rally by carrying awareness placards and raising slogans that highlighted the need for accurate census data and public cooperation. The rally was flagged off in the presence of Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Correspondent; Dr. S. Anbalagan, Principal; Dr. K.S. Prabakar, Admin. Director; the Tahsildar; the Revenue Inspector (RI); and the Village Administrative Officer (VAO). Their presence encouraged students and reinforced the importance of the national census.

The rally successfully reached local residents, spreading awareness about the significance of Census 2027 and encouraging every citizen to participate responsibly. The programme reflected the institution’s commitment to promoting civic responsibility and community awareness.
