S.A. College of Arts & Science organised the “SACAS HackLeague – Internal SIH 2026”, an internal hackathon under the Smart India Hackathon 2026 initiative, on 9 September 2026 at the DS Lab. The event commenced at 9:30 a.m. with the participation of 90 students.

The hackathon provided students with a platform to demonstrate their innovation, problem-solving skills, technical expertise, teamwork, communication, and entrepreneurial thinking by developing solutions to real-world challenges.

The event was evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising industry experts. The jury included Ms. Sudha Sathya Narayanan, Chief Mission Officer, Anandham Youth Foundation and Co-Founder & Managing Director, Cognitruex Tech Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. S. R. Aneesh, Project Lead, StartupTN; and Ms. Mira Somasundaram, Founder & CEO, Astralbeam Innovations Pvt. Ltd., an IIT Madras-incubated startup.

The event successfully fostered innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students.
