our SACAS University women’s weightlifter Oviya, from 2nd B.Sc. Nutrition, won the gold medal with a cash award of ₹3000 in the CM Trophy Thiruvallur District Weightlifting Championship 2025-2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai. She lifted a total of 112 kg in the 48 kg category (Snatch: 52 kg + Clean and Jerk: 60 kg). On behalf of the Department of Physical Education.
