The Corporate Governance Professionals’ Association, under the aegis of the Department of Corporate Secretaryship, S. A. College of Arts & Science organized the 20th Student Knowledge Transformation Study Circle on “AI Productivity Tools for Students” on 30 September 2026. More than 180 students participated enthusiastically in the programme.

The session was presented by S. Tanavram and R. Bhuvaneshwaran, I Year Students, who introduced students to the concept, applications, benefits, and limitations of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The presenters explored five categories of AI tools and highlighted their relevance to academic learning, examination preparation, and daily activities.

Emphasizing the message “Don’t let AI master you,” the session focused on responsible AI usage, data privacy, accuracy, and independent thinking. Students were cautioned against overreliance on AI and encouraged to verify AI-generated information. The programme concluded with the thought-provoking message, “The goal isn’t to let AI do your thinking, but to give you more time.”
