The Department of Bachelor of Computer Applications, S.A. College of Arts & Science, inaugurated the Skill Elevation Club on 7 July 2026 at the college auditorium, followed by a guest lecture on “Corporate Expectations from Freshers.” The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Asha Hariharan, Business Growth Strategist at TVS Next, Chennai. The event began with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu and a welcome address by Dr. K. Jamberi, Head of the Department. Newly elected student office bearers received badges and pledged to lead the club with dedication. In her address, Ms. Asha Hariharan highlighted the importance of communication, technical skills, teamwork, adaptability, professionalism, and continuous learning for career success. She also shared practical tips on resume writing, interviews, and career planning while encouraging students to participate in workshops, certifications, and hackathons. The interactive session inspired students to enhance their skills and prepare confidently for successful careers in the IT industry.
