The Department of Bank Management, S.A. College of Arts & Science, in association with IQAC, organized a guest lecture on “Our Future in Finance, Accounting & Corporate Law” on 10 August 2026 at the SACAS Theatre.

The session was led by Ms. Sandhiya Jayachandran, M.Com., FCA, CS., Chartered Accountant and Partner, R. Jayachandran & Co., and Mr. R. Jayachandran, B.Com., FCA, Chartered Accountant and Founder, R. Jayachandran & Co. The resource persons shared valuable insights into the changing financial and corporate sectors and highlighted emerging career opportunities.

The lecture covered finance, accounting, auditing, taxation, banking, corporate finance, compliance, corporate law, and governance. The speakers also emphasized the importance of technical knowledge, analytical thinking, communication skills, professional ethics, adaptability, and continuous learning.

The interactive session helped students connect academic concepts with real-world practices and understand professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountancy. The programme successfully strengthened industry–academia interaction and motivated students to pursue rewarding careers in the financial and corporate sectors.
