International Conference on Green Finance Held at SACAS

The Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), S.A. College of Arts & Science, Chennai, organized the International Conference “NEXGEN 2K26” on 13 March 2026 in hybrid mode. The conference focused on the theme “Green Finance, Scientific Innovation and Sustainable Development Goals: Pathway to a Resilient Future.”

The programme began with the inaugural session at 9.45 a.m., followed by the lighting of the lamp. The Principal delivered the inaugural address and appreciated the department for organizing an international academic event. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. G. Purushothaman, Head of the Department.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Sivakumar Venkataramany (USA), released the ISBN conference proceedings and delivered a keynote address on Sustainable Development Goals and green finance. Keynote sessions were also delivered by Dr. Ramasamy Rajesh Kumar (Australia) and Mr. Gnanaraj Sadachadaram (Canada).

Researchers presented papers in offline and online sessions. The conference concluded with the valedictory session and distribution of certificates and Best Paper Awards.
