S.A. College Organises Women’s Health Camp Benefiting 560 Participants

The Department of Computer Application, in association with the Women Empowerment Cell, IQAC, and ACS Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, organized a Women’s Health Awareness Programme titled “Care for Her: Women’s Health Camp” on 15 July 2026 at the auditorium of S.A. College of Arts & Science.

The programme aimed to create awareness about women’s health, promote preventive healthcare, and encourage regular medical check-ups. A team of experienced doctors, specialists, nurses, and healthcare professionals conducted free health screenings, including general health check-ups, gynecological consultations, eye and dental examinations, ECG screening, and mammogram screening for women aged 40 years and above.

Medical experts also provided guidance on nutrition, breast health, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of early diagnosis. The camp received an overwhelming response, benefiting 560 women, including students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and housekeeping staff. The initiative reflected the institution’s strong commitment to health, wellness, and women’s empowerment.
