SYNAPSE 2026 Inspires Future AI and Data Science Professionals

The Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, in association with IQAC, S.A. College of Arts & Science, successfully organized SYNAPSE 2026, featuring a guest lecture, Students’ Council Inauguration, and Freshers’ Welcome on 24 July 2026 at the SACAS Preview Theatre.

The guest lecture on “The Synapse between Data and Intelligence” was delivered by Mr. Shanthababu Pandian, Data and AI Solution Architect, Chennai. He explained key concepts, including biological synapses, data explosion, data quality, the connection between data and intelligence, real-world applications, and the future of AI-driven technologies. His practical examples and interactive discussions encouraged students to explore the growing field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

The programme also marked the inauguration of the Students’ Council, encouraging students to develop leadership skills and actively participate in departmental activities. The event concluded with a lively Freshers’ Welcome, warmly welcoming the first-year students. SYNAPSE 2026 created an inspiring and memorable start to the academic year, motivating students to excel in emerging technologies.
