The Department of Hindi, S.A. College of Arts & Science, under the banner of Saahas Sangam – Hindi Association, organised the Investiture Ceremony & Hindi Diwas on 21 September 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the SACAS Auditorium. The programme aimed to promote Hindi language and culture while fostering student leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and active participation.

The ceremony formally introduced the newly appointed office bearers of Saahas Sangam – Hindi Association and entrusted them with responsibilities to organise literary, cultural, and academic activities under the guidance of the Department of Hindi.

The programme was graced by Mrs. C. Gunasundari, Hindi HOD, Hindi Department, Sudharsanam Vidyaashram CBSE School, who shared valuable insights on the importance of language, education, discipline, and leadership. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. M.V. Vinthy, Head of Hindi Department and Convenor.

The Hindi Diwas celebration further highlighted the significance of Hindi language, literature, and cultural heritage. The event provided students with a meaningful platform to develop confidence, creativity, communication, teamwork, and cultural awareness, marking the beginning of a new phase of student leadership and active participation.
