The Department of Visual Communication of S.A. College of Arts and Science organised a seminar on “Motion Graphics” on September 17, 2026, at the SACAS Theatre, Thiruverkadu, Chennai. The programme was held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The programme was organised with the constant support and valuable guidance of the Correspondent, Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, and the Principal Dr.S.Anbalagan whose encouragement contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the seminar.

The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Ms. Harini, Technical Instructor, Department of Visual Communication, S.A. College of Arts and Science. The programme was conducted with the continuous support of Dr. Sheik Mohamed S.H., Head of the Department of Visual Communication, S.A. College of Arts and Science.The seminar aimed to provide students with an understanding of the creative and technical aspects of motion graphics and its growing applications in the visual communication and media industries.

Mr. Savin Shijo, Senior VFX Faculty, Frameboxx, served as the resource person for the seminar. He shared his professional expertise and insights into motion graphics, visual effects and industry practices. The session offered students valuable exposure to contemporary techniques and helped them understand the skills and career opportunities available in the field of motion graphics and VFX.

The programme was convened by Mr. Gamaliel S., Convenor and Assistant Professor, Department of Visual Communication. Students actively participated in the seminar and benefited from the interaction with the industry professional.

The seminar concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Noah, Technical Instructor, Department of Visual Communication, who expressed gratitude to the management, resource person, faculty members and students for their valuable contributions towards the successful conduct of the programme.

The event was part of the department’s efforts to provide students with industry-oriented learning experiences and enhance their knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in visual communication.
