S.A. College Strengthens Faculty Well-being Through ‘Resonance’.
The Department of Visual Communication, S.A. College of Arts & Science, organized “Resonance,” a faculty well-being programme, on 13 July 2026 at the SACAS Theatre. The programme was conducted to promote mental wellness, relieve stress, and strengthen the bond among faculty members through an engaging musical sing-along session.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sheik Mohamed S.H., Head, Department of Visual Communication. Special addresses were delivered by Prof. R.D. Balaji, Course Director, and Dr. K.S. Prabakar, Director (Admin & CDC), who highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and creating a positive academic environment.
Faculty members from various departments actively participated in the interactive session, singing together and enjoying the refreshing experience. The lively atmosphere encouraged relaxation, teamwork, and meaningful interaction among colleagues.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing their appreciation for the thoughtful initiative and requesting that more such wellness programmes be organized in the future to support faculty well-being.
