Department of Visual Communication, S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS), inaugurated “KINORA” – the Film Club on 3 September 2026

The Department of Visual Communication, S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS), inaugurated “KINORA” – the Film Club on 3 September 2026 at the SACAS Theatre. With the theme “Every Frame Tells a Story,” the club aims to provide students with a creative platform to explore cinema, filmmaking and visual storytelling.

The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Correspondent; Dr. S. Anbalagan, Principal; Dr. K. S. Prabhakar, Director (CDC & Admin); and Prof. R. D. Balaji, Course Director.

Mr. Raju Murugan, writer, lyricist, journalist, screenwriter and film director, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Special Guest. An engaging interaction with students was the highlight of the programme, offering valuable insights into storytelling, cinema and filmmaking.

The event was coordinated by Mr. S. Palani, Assistant Professor and Programme Convenor, and concluded with a vote of thanks.
