The Department of Visual Communication, S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS), organised a Photography Workshop on 10 September 2026 at the CG Lab, SACAS, to enhance students’ practical photography skills. The programme was conducted with the support and guidance of Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja. Dr. S. Anbalagan, Principal, SACAS, delivered the Presidential Address, while Ms. Sanjana, I B.Sc. Visual Communication, delivered the Welcome Address.

Kalaimamani Mr. Seshadri Sukumar, Canon EOS Ambassador and PIB-Accredited Veteran Sports Photographer, shared valuable professional insights into sports photography, composition, framing, and visual storytelling. Mr. Veereswaran V, Canon Technical Trainer, provided practical guidance on camera handling, photography techniques, and professional equipment.

The interactive workshop enabled students to gain hands-on knowledge of camera operations, lighting, framing, and professional photography practices. Dr. S. H. Sheik Mohamed, Head, Department of Visual Communication, proposed the Vote of Thanks. The workshop offered students a meaningful and enriching learning experience.
