The Incubation Centre of S.A. College of Arts & Science organised a curated visit for students to Delta Expo 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, on 14 March 2026. The visit aimed to expose students to innovative ideas, startup culture, and entrepreneurial opportunities that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The programme encouraged students to understand how innovation and research can be used to solve real-world problems and develop sustainable solutions. During the expo, students had the opportunity to witness cutting-edge technologies and interact with innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers from diverse fields.
Delta Expo showcased more than 60 startup ideas and prototypes, many of which focused on areas such as artificial intelligence, smart applications, digital platforms, automation tools, and technology-driven solutions designed to improve industrial and supply chain efficiency.
Students also experienced live demonstrations of prototypes and gained insights on transforming ideas into startups, incubation programmes, and funding opportunities. The visit proved to be an inspiring learning experience, highlighting the role of technology in building a sustainable future.
