Mentorship Session on IPR & MoU Signing at SACAS

A Mentorship Session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was organised on 23 February 2026 at the SACAS Preview Theatre, S.A. College of Arts & Science. The programme was conducted by the Corporate Governance Professionals’ Association under the Department of Corporate Secretaryship in collaboration with Turnip Association Pvt. Ltd..

The session was delivered by Dr. Rahul Kapoor, an expert in patent analytics and consultancy. He shared practical insights on trademark protection, citing real-life disputes and emphasising the legal strength of intellectual property. Highlighting global examples, he explained how brand value drives business sustainability and economic growth.

Dr. S. Ganapathy acknowledged the collaboration and appreciated Dr. M. Suresh for his coordination efforts. The event concluded with an interactive session, encouraging students to explore certified programmes in IPR for career advancement.
