S.A. College Conducts Hands-on Workshop on Building AI Agents.

The PG Department of Computer Science, S.A. College of Arts & Science, organized a hands-on workshop on “Building AI Agents: From Ideas to Deployment” on 24 July 2026 at the SACAS Data Science Lab. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents and provide practical experience in developing intelligent AI-powered solutions.

The session was conducted by Mr. Karthik A., Founder & CEO, Sysgate Infosystems. The programme began with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by a welcome address by Dr. M. Thirunavukkarasu, Head of the Department.

The resource person explained AI agent architecture, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and deployment strategies through live demonstrations and hands-on activities. Students gained practical knowledge of designing and deploying AI agents while exploring their applications in education, healthcare, business, and software development.

The interactive workshop enhanced students’ technical skills, creativity, and understanding of emerging AI technologies. The programme concluded with a feedback session, inspiring participants to explore Artificial Intelligence further and develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
