Republic Day Celebrations at SACAS on 26.01.2025

S.A. College of Arts & Science celebrated Republic Day on January 26, 2025, with patriotic fervor. The event commenced with Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Muruganandham, the college librarian. Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakumar hoisted the national flag and received the students’ march-past salute. In her address, she emphasized respecting parents as one respects the nation. Students delivered speeches in Tamil and English, highlighting women freedom fighters and patriotism. The event featured patriotic group dances and concluded with a traditional music performance. The Physical Education and Nutrition & Food Management departments jointly coordinated the event successfully.
