S.A. College of Arts & Science celebrated the spirit of Onam on 25 August 2026 with a vibrant array of cultural and traditional events. The celebrations were organised by the Rotaract Club and Cultural Committee under the guidance of Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja.

The festivities began with inter-departmental competitions in Pookalam, Onam Sadya and poster creation, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of students and faculty. The celebration continued with the grand exposition of Mahabali Chakravarthy and an energetic Onam Flash Mob.

The campus came alive with the excitement of car drifting, followed by the rhythmic grandeur of Chenda Melam Drum Ecstasy. The celebrations concluded with a lively DJ session, bringing students together in an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.

The event beautifully reflected the essence of Onam tradition, unity, happiness and togetherness making it a memorable celebration for the entire college community.
