S.A. School of Management Holds Advisory Board Meeting
The S. A. School of Management (SASOM), S.A. College of Arts & Science, successfully conducted its Advisory Board Meeting on 18 July 2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the SOM Board Room. The meeting was presided over by Mr. P. Venkateshraja, Correspondent, and Dr. Viji R., Director, School of Management.
The meeting was attended by distinguished Advisory Board members, namely Mr. Gokul Santhanam, Senior Vice President, Mphasis; Mr. Muthu Sathiamurthy, Startup Mentor; Mr. Murali Ravindran, Managing Director & CEO, Konrad Technologies; Dr. M. H. Raja, Founder & CEO, Lead HR Services Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. S. Ganesh, Head of Learning Experience, ASME; Mr. Sivakumar, CEO, Capital Market Services; Mr. S. Jayaraam, DGM – Market Development, Business Standard; Dr. Selva Lakshmi, Professor & Principal, Thiagarajar College; Ms. Sangeetha Bala, Founder & CEO, Think Infinity Technologies; Mr. Vasanth Lakshman, Principal Partner, Urban Money; Mr. Vinai Katariya, Vice President, Barclays; and Mr. B. Vijay Kumar, AVP, IT, BNP Paribas India Solutions, along with the faculty members of the School of Management.
The programme commenced with the introduction of the Advisory Board members, followed by the welcome address and a presentation by Dr. Viji R. on the action taken based on the recommendations of the previous Advisory Board meeting. Mr. P. Venkateshraja addressed the gathering and emphasized the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and industry relevance.
During the interactive session, the Advisory Board members shared valuable suggestions on strengthening industry–institution collaboration, enhancing experiential learning, improving student employability, and aligning the curriculum with emerging industry requirements. The members also assured their continued support through internships, mentorship, guest lectures, live projects, and placement initiatives.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with meaningful deliberations and strategic recommendations that will further strengthen the School of Management’s vision of producing industry-ready management professionals and taking the institution to greater heights.
