SACAS Hosts Men’s Tennis Tournament

The Department of Physical Education of S.A. College of Arts & Science, Thiruverkadu, successfully conducted the Men’s Tennis Tournament on campus today. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 20 players representing various districts across Tamil Nadu, making the event both competitive and vibrant.

The tournament was organised under the guidance of Dr. A. Ramakrishnan, Director of Physical Education (DPE), with the support of Mr. R. Hari Babu, Assistant Directors of Physical Education (ADPE). The event was conducted smoothly, providing participants with an excellent platform to demonstrate their technical skills, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.

After a series of closely contested matches, S.R. Abishek Raja of Thirunelveli emerged as the champion, while R. Selvam of Chennai secured the runner-up position. The tournament concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, appreciating the outstanding performances of the players and reaffirming the college’s commitment to promoting excellence in sports.
