On the second day of the Digital Marketing Workshop, the trainer Mr.V.J.Saravanan, gave an activity on product idea pitching. He demonstrated the usage of the gravity write tool. The session also gave an overview of the various metrics used in web analytics.

On the Day 1 of the workshop, Mr.V.J.Saravanan tested the students’ knowledge, on digital marketing and shared the interesting aspects of digital marketing. He also taught the students on content management systems and taught them how to create website. The session was very interesting and interactive.

School of Management organised an Industrial Visit for MBA & BBA students on 27/08/24 and 28/08/24 to Adani Port , Katupalli, Chennai. The visit to the port provided the students and indepth understanding of Port Operations, logistics at one of the modern multi Terminal Private port in India. The project manager at Adani, educated the students on the working of the port and also took them around the port and explained about various activities in the port, The students had the opportunity of seeing the loaded cargo ship entering the port and leaving the port. The industrial visit was truly educative and informative.

School of Management- MMA Student Chapter in association with MMA Chennai organised Expert Lecture on Digitalization- Enhancing Efficiency & importance of Understanding Data by Mr.Ajith Sai Krishna.R, Technical .Educator & Freelance Trainer on 14/08/2024. The guest speaker started the lecture highlighting the difference between Digitation, Digitalisation & Digital transformation. He educated the students on how Digitalization is transforming the business landscape by enhancing efficiency, streamlining operations, and enabling data-driven decision-making. However, the true potential of digitalization can only be realized when businesses understand the value of data, maintain its quality and integrity, and use it responsibly. Mr.Ajith highlighted about critical role digitalization plays in improving efficiency across business operations while highlighting the importance of understanding and managing data effectively . The speaker concluded by telling that, companies will continue to embrace digital technologies and those that prioritize data literacy and ethical data management will be better positioned to thrive in the digital age. The session gave insights on the importance of data and digitalisation in the future. The session was interactive and interesting.

School of Management- MMA Student Chapter in association with MMA Chennai organised Expert Lecture on Gig Economy- Opportunities and Challenges by Dr.S.Jayachandran, Vice President , Marutham Group on 13/08/2024.The Guest highlighted the challenges of a Gig economy , he said that the gig economy is expanding and insisted the need for circular economy, where in the resources will be utilised to the maximum extent without wastage of resources. Dr. Jaychandran, said that, gig economy presents a complex mix of opportunities and challenges, he said that, while it offers unprecedented flexibility and access to income-generating opportunities, it also raises significant concerns about worker protections, income stability, and the broader socioeconomic impact. He also insisted the need for addressing these challenges through thoughtful policy and strategic investments, and said that stakeholders should help ensure that the gig economy contributes positively to economic growth and worker well-being in both developed and developing economies. The speaker said that the Gig sector in India will contribute to 1.25% to GDP by mid 2025 & by the year 2030 gig work force will reach 23.5 million by 2030. The session was educative and interactive.

School of Management is organised, Guest Lecture on “Entrepreneurship- A Pathway towards Success and Opportunities” for II MBA students and III BBA students. Mr.Logeshwaran Ramadoss, Co-founder & Director, IGNIT Technical Solutions, Chennai, was the resource person. Around 95 students and 6 faculty members attended the Guest lecture. The programme started with welcome address by Subhashini of III BBA, Dr,Viji.R, Director ,School of Management delivered the special address and Dr.L.Padmanabhan, Associate Professor, School of Management felicitated the guest. The Guest, Mr.Logeshwaran Ramadoss enlightened the students on the need for entrepreneurship and importance of problem solving in entrepreneurship, The session was very interactive and the guest promised to help the students by guiding them in getting funds to start an enterprise. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Sangeetha Priya of III BBA.

School of Management, SACAS, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Capital Market Services, Chennai on 24.01.2024 at their campus. Thiru P. Venkatesh Raja, Correspondent, SACAS and Mr. S. Sivakumar, CEO, Capital Market Services, Chennai signed and exchanged the MOU. The MOU aims at giving an insight into the latest development and requirements of the industries through Knowledge sharing sessions, conclaves, seminars, industrial visits, continuous interactions through work group studies, and internships.

MMA Student Chapter, School of Management in association with MMA organised Workshop on Business Etiquette and Professional Grooming on 29.01.2024 from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 pm at SACAS Theatre. Resource Person for the Workshop Ms.Ayushi Soni, Marketing Coordinator, Lakme Academy, gave a brief introduction on the need for preofessional grooming Ms. Varalakshmi, Skin Trainer, Lakme Academy educated the students by demonstrating on how students should present themselves for an interview. Ms.Anandhi, Hair Trainer, Lakme Academy demonstrated on hairstyles . Around 115 students from IMBA and II BBA attended the Workshop.
