The Department of Bachelor of Business Administration, in association with IQAC, S.A. College of Arts & Science and S.A. School of Management, organised a Guest Lecture on "Personal Branding for Young Entrepreneurs" on 13 July 2026 at the College Auditorium. The programme featured Mr. Naresh Kumar Gopalakrishnan, Team Leader – GNK Global EXIM (Export) & Business Operations and Head at Cluster Squard Technologies, as the Chief Guest.

In his keynote address, the speaker emphasized that trust is the foundation of personal branding and business success. He encouraged students to adapt to emerging technologies, build a strong personal brand before starting a business, and remain consistent in their entrepreneurial journey. The session highlighted the effective use of social media platforms such as X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn, along with business platforms like IndiaMART and AI tools such as ChatGPT for customer engagement and business growth.

The lecture motivated students to explore government startup schemes, invest wisely, develop confidence in handling social media challenges, and cultivate the right mindset for entrepreneurial success. The interactive programme provided valuable insights into modern business branding and inspired students to become future-ready entrepreneurs.


Digital Marketing Event Enhances Students' Creative Skills at SACAS on 09.07.2026

The School of Management, through the Department of Business Administration (BBA), S.A. College of Arts & Science, Thiruverkadu, successfully organised the "Digital Marketing – One-Minute Video Presentation" event on 9 July 2026 at 1.00 p.m. The programme aimed to nurture students' creativity and digital marketing competencies through innovative presentations.

The event was graced by Dr. Sheik Mohamed S. H., who emphasised the significance of creativity, effective communication, and digital skills in the modern business environment. Four teams enthusiastically presented one-minute videos on various digital marketing themes, including brands, products, and promotional campaigns. Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders at SASOM.

The School of Management, S.A. College of Arts & Science, organised the Future Leaders Programme on 13 March 2026 at 10.00 AM in Fr.F.03. The session was delivered by Ms. Ancymol A S, Senior Training Officer, with the objective of helping students develop leadership qualities, communication skills, and professional confidence required in the corporate world.

During the session, Ms. Ancymol shared valuable insights on the importance of leadership, teamwork, and personal development in today’s competitive professional environment. She explained that effective leaders must possess qualities such as confidence, responsibility, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

She also highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive mindset, building strong interpersonal skills, and continuously learning to achieve personal and professional success. The School of Management through the Department of Business Administration, at S.A College of Arts & Science organized an expert lecture on “Managing Change and Organisational Development” on 25 February 2026 at 10:00 AM in the SACAS Auditorium. The session was delivered by Mr. Mani Nachiyappan N., Manager–HRD at Hyundai Motor India Ltd..

The resource person shared valuable insights on the importance of accepting change to foster organizational development. He explained that change is inevitable due to technological advancements, globalization, market competition, and evolving customer expectations. The session provided practical perspectives on how organizations manage change effectively while ensuring sustainable growth in a dynamic business environment.

The lecture was highly interactive, with students raising questions on resistance to change, leadership challenges, and career readiness. Mr. Nachiyappan emphasized adaptability, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Empowering Future Entrepreneurs through AI and Industry 4.0 at SACAS

The School of Management ,S.A. College of Arts & Science organised an expert lecture on “AI & Industry 4.0 Tools for Innovators and Entrepreneurs” for the  BBA students  on 03 February 2026 at the SACAS Auditorium. The session aimed to create awareness about modern technologies and their impact on business and entrepreneurship.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Gopinath, Managing Director of GB Tech Corp, Chennai. He explained the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in today’s business environment. He highlighted that AI supports human decision-making through data analysis, automation, and real-time monitoring. He also explained how Industry 4.0 combines AI, data, and smart technologies to improve efficiency and innovation.

Mr. Gopinath shared practical examples of AI applications in sales, inventory management, human resources, logistics, and marketing. He emphasised continuous learning and adaptability. The session also included an interactive digital quiz. Overall, the lecture inspired students to embrace technology and develop entrepreneurial skills for future success.

SACAS BBA Students Form Human Chain for Human Rights

The School of Management & Bachelor of Business Administration, at S.A. College of Arts & Science, organized a Human Chain on July 16, 2025, to show strong support for Human Rights. The event took place in front of the SACAS main gate and saw active participation from over 30 students.

Students stood united, holding placards with powerful slogans and inspiring quotes, spreading awareness on the importance of human dignity, equality, and justice. The initiative aimed to instill a strong sense of social responsibility and encourage students to become informed and active citizens.

This meaningful activity reflected the students’ commitment to promoting universal human rights and their collective voice against injustice. The event was well received by faculty and students alike, reinforcing SACAS’s dedication to shaping socially conscious individuals who stand for positive change in society.

The School of Management,Department of Business Administration ,S.A. College of Arts & Science warmly welcomed its new batch of first-year students with a vibrant and memorable Freshers' Day Celebration held on 11th July 2025 in the college auditorium.

The event commenced at 2:00 PM .The event helped newly joined students overcome their initial hesitation and build a strong sense of bonding with their peers and seniors .

Games and fun interaction sessions between seniors and juniors built a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The winners were crowned amidst cheers and applause.

The celebration ended with refreshments and group photos capturing memories of a warm welcome into the School of Management family.

Farewell “adieu 25”of Department of Business Administration, School of Management  was organised on 9/04/2025. The Farewell was filled with both joyfulness and emotions. The II Year and I year students of BBA together greeted their seniors in the best possible way by making it memorable with games, cultural activities and presenting gifts to their seniors. The farewell became a platform for the juniors and seniors to understand each and it showcased the strong bond with in the department. The farewell was a perfect blend of celebration and emotion.

The lecture provided valuable insights into the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in today’s business landscape. With an interactive approach, more than 50 students from various departments actively participated in discussions, engaging in thought-provoking conversations about startup culture, risk management, and business strategies.

Dr. Moorthy encouraged students to ask questions, offering practical knowledge backed by real-world examples. The session inspired aspiring entrepreneurs to explore innovative ideas and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. S.A. College of Arts & Science Organizes Education Awareness Programme On 31st January 2025, The School of Management at S.A. College of Arts & Science, in association with UBA and IIC, organized an Education Awareness Programme on National Education Day at the Government School in Kannapalayam Village.

As part of the initiative, students from the School of Management engaged schoolchildren through games and activities to emphasize the importance of education. Additionally, they distributed books and stationery to encourage learning.

The school students enthusiastically participated in the activities, showcasing their talents and winning prizes. The Headmistress of the school appreciated the college students for their efforts in motivating young learners and fostering a positive learning environment.

This outreach programme successfully highlighted the significance of education and community engagement, leaving a lasting impact on the students of Kannapalayam Village.
