“Fresher’s Day Celebration & Nomination of Board Members” on 17th August 2023

Department of Commerce (Bank Management) of S.A College of Arts and science organized a “Fresher’s Day Celebration & Nomination of Board Members” on 17th August 2023 at Sacas Theatre.
PROGRAMME AGENDA
 The Program was started with Prayer song.
 The entire program was hosted with Ms. M. Rinthiya Sai III B. Com Bm and
Ms. Thusyanthi III B. Com Bm.
 The Welcome address was given by Mr.S. Jayamani II B. Com BM.
 The Special Address was given by Dr. P. Pandian Head & Department of Commerce (BM) and followed by Department of Other Faculties.
 The video of multiple events clipping had been released.
 Department of Commerce (Bank Management) association with SACAS Bank. It was inaugurated in March 2021 and have board members. Now for the Present academic year 2023-24, New Board Members were nominated as

2. Vice President – Ms. J. Subashree II B.com BM
3. Secretary – Ms. S. Shrivardhini III B.com BM
4. Joint Secretary – Mr. P. Rohit Narayanan II B.com BM
5. Treasurer – Mr. N. Hepsiba Arputha Mary III B.com BM
 Department of Commerce (Bank Management) has organized Fresher’s Day for the I year students to Promote student’s interactions and communications and it helps to make them get out of their shell.
 This Event was planned and conducted by 2nd & 3rd year students with guidance of
Dr. P. Pandian, Head of the Department and Other faculty members.
 Students conducted the Fresher’s Day program in a very good manner.
 Games, Dance (Solo & Group), Group Singing and song with an Instrument was conducted to show their own talents and skills.
 This will promote the well-being among students.
 Gifts were distributed to I B. Com Bm students.
 Vote of Thanks was given by Ms. M. Preethi II B.com BM

KARGIL DAY Organized by Commerce BM on 26.07.2023

KARGIL DAY

  • The Department of Bank Management is celebrated Kargil Day on 26th July 2023 at S.A. College of Arts & Science from 8 am to 9 am., and students created awareness about the Kargil Vijay Diwas by forming a human chain from SV School gate to SAEC gate.  
  • More than 60 students and 5 Professor are participated in the Programme. Students have holded most respective codes with their placards with creative slogans insisting on the importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas. 
  • The reminiscence of the soldiers who lost their lives in the 1999 Indo-Pakistani War, set all over the world is known for its courage and valor.
  • The students gave respect to the Kargil warriors by holding proud slogans such as 
  • The theme of Kargil Day is “I won’t die in an accident or die of any disease”. 
  • “I will go down in glory”, “Kargil is not a story of just winning, it’s a story of pain with pride, wishing Kargil Vijay Diwas”.
  • “The harder the battle, the more grand the victory”, “For your tomorrow, we gave our today… - Kargil Vijay Diwas”.
  • “If death strikes before I prove my blood, I promise, I will kill death. – caption Manoj Pandey”
  • “Either I’ll come back after hoisting a tricolor or I will come back wrapped in it but I’ll be back for sure.” –caption Vikram Batra
  • “For your tomorrow, we gave our today.” – Kargil Vijay Diwas
  • “We won against them in Kargil, but we lost our dear once.”
  • “The Kargil war was started on 3rd may and ended on 26th July 1999 with the victory of India against Pakistan”.
  • “The soldiers gave there today for our future”.
  • “To my countrymen, I am the shield, to my enemies I am a sword”.

           The students participated in this event with full zeal and enthusiasm.
