S. A. College Shines at Anti-Child Labor Day Event
S.A. College of Arts and Science has garnered significant accolades at the Anti-Child Labor Day awareness program held at the Anna Centenary Library Festival Hall. Organized by the Department of Labor, the event highlighted student contributions to the cause of eliminating child labor. Deepak Raj, a second-year MSc student, secured the 2nd prize in the 1-minute short film category. His film was praised for its impactful message and creativity. Additional honors went to Thiru. Guru Shankar, a third-year Viscom student, for best editing, and Thiru. Rohit, a second-year Viscom student, for his evocative painting work. The college administration, including the Correspondent, Principal, and Director, received special thanks for their unwavering support and encouragement. This recognition underscores the dedication and talent of the Visual Communication Department, reinforcing the collegeβs commitment to social causes and creative excellence. The event, led by the Hon'ble Minister of Labor Welfare and Skill Development, celebrated student initiatives in raising awareness about child labor issues.




CDAC Exam for Department of B.Sc. Visual Communication on 23.05.2024
CDAC exam is scheduled for May 23, 2024, and it is mandatory for everyone to attend.
Details of the exam are as follows:
Theory Examination: 10 AM - 11 AM (common for all students)
Practical Examination: Held in two batches
Batch 1: 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM
Batch 2: 12:15 PM - 1:15 PM
The exam will take place at our college premises.

Attendees, comprising budding filmmakers, graphic designers, and visual storytelling enthusiasts, gathered on March 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to enhance their skills and understanding of color grading. The event, organized by the Department of Visual Communication, aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience and insights into the nuances of color grading in the realm of visual arts. Participants expressed enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity to learn from industry expert Karthik Chandrasekar, highlighting the event's value in furthering their expertise in the field of visual communication.

The event took place on 09 October at 10 AM, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of talented students eager to showcase their singing abilities. Participants displayed remarkable vocal prowess, leaving the judges with the challenging task of selecting the best contenders. The audition day was filled with melodious performances, showcasing the exceptional musical talent within our college community.
