The School of Management has inaugurated MMA Student Chapter on 29.01.2024 between 10.00 a.m. and 11.00 am at SACAS Theatre by GP Capt Dr. R. Venkataraman, General Manager, MMA. In his inaugural address Dr.Venkataraman emphasised the need for students to improve communication skills and insisted the need for students be aware of current affairs. Around 115 student members of MMA from I MBA and II BBA attend the session.

The School of Management in association with Nanayam Vikatan and Capital Market Securities, Chennai organized Finclave 2024 on 24.01.2024 on “Navigating the world of Corporate Finance and Impact of Banking Innovation” at SACAS Theatre. The Honourable Correspondent of the college Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, Mr. A.R.Kumar Joint Editor of Nanayam Vikatan and Mr.Siva Kumar CEO, Capital Market Securities, Chennai graced the occasion.
The programme started with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries. Dr. Viji.R, Director, School of Management delivered the welcome address, presidential address was delivered by Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja. The special addresses were delivered by Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, Inaugural address by Mr.A.R.Kumar, Joint Editor, Nanayam Vikatan and Key note Address by Mr. S.Siva Kumar, CEO, Capital Market Securities, Chennai. On the occasion MOU was signed between School of Management, S.A.College of Arts & Science and Capital Market Services Ltd., This was followed by educative session I on topic Cluster Financing and Growth of SME in India and Banking support by Dr.S.Nagarajan, MD, Frontier Electrocomponents & Systems Pvt Ltd, Vellore. Session II was on topic “Innovation in Banking-Emerging role for Technology and AI by Mr.Prakash Menon, Executive Vice President, HDFC Bank Ltd., and session III on Women Entrepreneurship development and Banking Support by Mrs. Meenakshi Balu, Director, Giri Trading Agency Pvt Ltd., Besides students of MBA of our college 48 students and 3 faculty members from 9 colleges participated in the Finclave’24. In the Valedictory session certificates were issued to participants.

The orientation programme “Embrace’23” on 11/09/23 for I MBA Students of School of Management organized Knowledge Sharing on MBA – The Way Forward by Mr. Ganesh S, Vice President, ICT Academy, Chennai .The session started at 1:30 p.m. at SACAS Theatre. Dr.Viji.R, Director, School of Management welcomed the gathering. Mr. Ganesh provided guidance on setting and defining goals, emphasizing the importance of having an additional skill set. He implied that to achieve something truly exceptional, it is imperative to extend one’s effort beyond traditional learning and textbooks. As this will lead to personal and professional growth. He also discussed the growing interest of foreign companies in India, highlighting the promising prospect of numerous employment opportunities emerging in the future. Mr.Ganesh concluded the session by encouraging the students to use the opportunity when it is given.

The Orientation Programme “Embrace” on 08.09.2023 for I MBA Students of School of Management started with Knowledge Sharing session on Journey towards Managerial Excellence by GP Capt Dr. R. Venkataraman, General Manager, MMA. The session started at 9.30a.m. at SACAS Theatre. Dr.Viji.R, Director, School of Management welcomed the gathering. The guest GP Dr.R. Vekataraman narrated real life stories of successful people. Sir, insisted the need to identify strength and fix goals and work hard towards achieving them. GPDr.Venkatraman also explained the need to look beyond the books. The guest concluded the session by quoting that “success or excuse, the choice is yours”. The session was very interactive.

The Orientation Programme Embrace’23 on 08/09/23 for I MBA Students of School of Management started with Knowledge Sharing in Human Resource Domain. The session started at 11.30a.m. at SACAS theatre. Dr. Viji. R, Director, School of Management welcomed the gathering. The guest Mr. David Netto explained the importance of self-motivation in life. Mr.David also insisted on developing skills . He emphasized the need for social networking and said that all of them should have an account in Linkedin. The session was interactive and the students clarified their qurries.

The first session of the orientation programme “Embrace” on 7/09/23 for I MBA Students of the School of Management started with Knowledge Sharing in HR Domain by Mrs.Archana Rajamanickam, Manager, HR Business Process e-Com Systems India Pvt. Ltd. The session started at 9.30a.m. at SACAS theatre. Dr.Viji.R, Director, School of Management welcomed the gathering. The guest Mrs. Archana addressed on the need to grab opportunities, understand one’s passion, set goals and said that money will follow Passion. Mrs.Archana narrated examples from her own life and experiences on how a person from an Engineering background has become a successful HR professional.

Ltd. The session started at 11.45a.m. at SACAS theatre. Dr.Viji.R, Director, School of Management welcomed the gathering. The guest Glenn Roger Carr came with the live stock market presentation and how it works. He explained the importance of investing in capital market from the engage with the live examples. He gave ideas to the young students on how to invest in the stock market and how it will bring profit in the future. He shared three important C’s a) Improve your communication b)Be confident c)Continuity. Then he answered and cleared all the doubts and questions asked by the students.
