S. A. College of Arts & Science powerlifter N. Narenraja (3rd BCA) won the bronze medal in the 93 kg category at the Tamil Nadu State Level Bench Press & Deadlift Tournament 2024, organized by the Tamil Nadu Powerlifting Sports Welfare Association and the Thiruvallur District Powerlifting Association at Shree Kalyaani Thirumana Mandapam, Oil Mill, Thiruvallur.

Our S.A. College of Arts & Science Rifle Shooter, S. Shakthivel of 1st BSC AI, won Silver Medal (Rifle 3 PositionJunior Men and Bronze Medal (in the 3 Position Men) 50 meters Rifle Shooting at the 15th All India Southzone Shooting Championship 2024, on 13/10/2024 to 20/10/2024 at Gurunanak College, Velacheri, Chennai. University of Madras B-zone Men Handball Tournament 2024-2025 on 05-09-2024
Our Men's Handball team, it is the First time Our College Men Handball team won the 2nd place Runner -up Trophy and Merit Certificate in the University of Madras B-zone Men Handball Tournament 2024-2025 at Nazareth College Avadi Chennai. In this tournament our SACAS Men Handball Team won the Fist round against Pachaiyapas college(15/02), Won the Second round match against KCS Kasinadar College (10/04) , won the 3rd round Semifinal match against St'Thomas College (12/04) , Final match our team last against Nazareth College 02/16.

SACAS's Department of Physical Education organizes the 3rd Inter-Department Cross Country & celebration of the 12th National Sports Day on 29.08.2024
SACAS's Department of Physical Education organizes the 3rd Inter-Department Cross Country running race: 8 km for Boys and 5 km for Girls in celebration of the 12th National Sports Day 2024 on our campus. The top 5 places will receive medals along with merit certificates for both Boys and Girls, with points awarded as follows: 1st place - 7 points, 2nd place - 5 points, 3rd place - 3 points, 4th place - 2 points, and 5th place - 1 point. Participation certificates will be given to all. After the event, our chief guest, Mr. R.G. Jayakumar, Inspector of Police, will present the medals and certificates to the prize winners.

It is the First time Our College Men Badminton team won the 3rd place Trophy and Merit Certificate in the University of Madras B-zone Men Badminton Tournament 2024-2025 at Madras Christian College Tambaram Chennai. In this tournament our SACAS Men Badminton won the Fist round against SriRam college(2/0), won the Second round match against AnnaiVoilet college (2/0) , won the 3rd Round Quarter Final match against A.M.Jain College (2/0), in the Semifinal match our college lost D.G.Vaishnav College (1/2) and then our college won the 3rd & 4th match against Sridevi College (2/0) and got 3rd Place. Our College Top Badminton stars Yaakesh.M.N, Deepak.A & Bharath.M played fantastic performance .

The Department of Physical Education of S.A College of Arts & Science conducted an engaging session exclusively for our girl students! The session featured a dynamic mix of cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises, which tailored to boost energy and enhance overall fitness. It helped the students to get an opportunity to improve their health, build confidence, and have fun with their peers. At the end of the session it was like "Come ready to move and embrace a healthier, stronger you".

The orientation program starts with our chief guest Dr. Desingu Rajan interacting with students about the developments and benefits of the sports sector in modern days, including the highest awards, job vacancies in the government and private sectors, procedures for competitions, sports achievers, Olympic games, etc.
