The session featured a dynamic mix of cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises, which tailored to boost energy and enhance overall fitness. It helped the students to get an opportunity to improve their health, build confidence, and have fun with their peers. At the end of the session it was like "Come ready to move and embrace a healthier, stronger you".

S. A. College of Arts & Science celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day on 21-06-2024. The programme was coordinated by the Department of Physical Education. Yoga Trained by G.Sivamaran Director of Physical Education at S.A. College of Arts & Science. He has done a PG Diploma in Yoga from Annamalai University Chithambaram. He had already conducted International Yoga Day programmes at Thiruthangal Nadar College and Mohamed Sathak Arts and Science College and taught the Asanas, Pranayamas, Suryanamaskar to the sports students.

SACAS Hosts Successful Intercollegiate SPOT FETZ 2K24 Men Tournament S.A. College of Arts & Science, under the banner of its Department of Physical Education, organised a thrilling debut of the 1st Men's Intercollegiate SPOT FETZ 2K24 tournament. Spanning from March 20th to 22nd, 2024, the event showcased talents in Tennisball Cricket, Chess, Carom, and Table Tennis. Across three exhilarating days, the tournament attracted 18 teams for Tennisball Cricket, 18 Carom players, 10 Table Tennis contestants, and 28 Chess enthusiasts from diverse academic institutions. SACAS emerged victorious in Chess and Carom, securing notable positions in Table Tennis and Tennisball Cricket. The success of the event was indebted to the guidance of the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. Sai Satyavathi, and Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakumar, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.

S. A. College of Arts & Science reverberated with enthusiasm as it celebrated its 2nd Sports Day on March 1, 2024. Dr. M. Sundar, the Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was further dignified with the presence of the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, and Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar.
Students showcased their sportsmanship in various events including March-past, Pyramid formation, Relay, and running races, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.

In a spirited ceremony today, SA College of Arts and Science inaugurated its Second Annual Interdepartment Tournaments for the academic year 2023-24. The event commenced with the unveiling of two competitions: Badminton, inaugurated by Mrs. Viji R, Director of the School of Management, and Tug of War, inaugurated by Dr. S Ganapathi, Head of the Department of B Com Corporate Secretaryship. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Mr. G Sivamaran, Head of the Physical Education Department, emphasized the significant impact these tournaments would have on the mental and physical well-being of students. The tournaments aim not only to foster healthy competition but also to promote an active lifestyle among the college community. The event promises an exciting display of talent and camaraderie, setting the stage for a memorable athletic season.
