S.A. College Launches NDLI Club to Boost Digital Learning.
The Central Library of S.A. College of Arts & Science organized the NDLI Club Inauguration and User Awareness Program on 10th November 2025 at the SACAS Theatre. The event aimed to promote digital learning and familiarize students with the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) platform.
The program began with a welcome address by the Librarian, followed by an inspiring speech from Mr. K. Venkataramani, Scientist–SF (Retd.), ISRO, who emphasized the role of digital libraries in advancing education and innovation. A live demonstration of the NDLI portal guided students on registration and effective use of digital resources.
Over 150 students actively participated and registered as NDLI Club members. The session enhanced awareness of digital learning tools and strengthened collaboration between the library and academic departments. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to all contributors.

A moment of pride for S.A. College of Arts & Science, On November 9, 2025, weightlifter D. Ragav, a B.Sc. Visual Communication student, won the Gold Medal in the Junior Men Category at the Thiruvallur District Level Weightlifting Championship held at C.T.H. Road, Kakkalur.
Ragav delivered an outstanding performance by lifting 80 kg in Snatch and 95 kg in Clean and Jerk, achieving a total weight of 175 kg. His remarkable strength and determination earned him the top spot in his category.
The event was organized by the Thiruvallur District Weightlifting Association for the 2025–2026 season. The Department of Physical Education and Sports congratulated Ragav on his exceptional achievement, praising him for bringing glory to SACAS and inspiring fellow students to aim high in sports and fitness.

A proud moment for S.A. College of Arts & Science, On November 9, 2025, weightlifter R.V. Oviya, a second-year B.Sc. NFSM&D student, brought glory to the institution by winning the Gold Medal at the Thiruvallur District Level Weightlifting Championship held at C.T.H. Road, Kakkalur.
Oviya showcased exceptional strength and determination, lifting 55 kg in Snatch and 70 kg in Clean and Jerk, with a total of 125 kg, securing the top position in her category. The event was organized by the Thiruvallur District Weightlifting Association for the academic year 2025–2026.
The Department of Physical Education and Sports congratulated Oviya for her outstanding performance and for bringing pride to SACAS. Her achievement stands as an inspiration for all aspiring athletes, proving that dedication and hard work always lead to victory.

College of Arts & Science proudly congratulates our university women athletes for their outstanding achievements at the Aringar Anna 5KM Marathon Race 2025-2026, organized by the Thiruvallur District Athletic Association at SDAT Track, Thiruvallur, on November 3, 2025.
R.R. Shaalu of II MBA clinched the Gold Medal with a ₹5000 cash award, while R. Nithya Harini of I B.Com (General) secured the Silver Medal with a ₹4000 cash award in the Under-25 age category. Their remarkable performance has brought great pride and glory to SACAS.

SASOM Organised Faculty Immersion Programme on Story Telling
S.A. School of Management, SACAS, JP Jacobs Research Foundation, UK & Faculty of Management, SRM University, Ramapuram, Jointly organised Faculty Immersion Program on Story Telling 0n 8th November 2025 for SRM and SASOM faculty members. Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean of Management Studies, SRM University, Ramaparum was the curator. Dr.Praveen kumar highlighted the importance Storytelling and said that it will enhance educators’ ability as an effective pedagogy, fostering student engagement, creativity, and deeper learning. Dr. Praveen trained the faculties on how stories can be developed in their respective subjects through movie clippings relevant to their subject, role plays, which will demonstate effectiveness for knowledge retention, reflective thinking, and higher-order skills development. The faculty members were asked to form groups and cdevelop stories relevant to the subject of their interest. All the faculty members actively participated in the group activity.Such Faculty Immersion Programs will transform teaching methodologies, fostering a dynamic and participative learning atmosphere and will help educators create emotionally resonant, interactive, and contextually relevant lessons, resulting in greater student engagement and learning outcomes.

சென்னை திருவேற்காடு எஸ்.ஏ.கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரியில் தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் சார்பில் மாபெரும் தமிழ்க் கனவு நிகழ்ச்சி திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சித் தலைவரின் வழிகாட்டுதலில் மிகச் சிறப்பாகக் கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் இன்று 07/11/2025 அன்று காலை 8. 45 மணியளவில் தமிழ்த் தாய் வாழ்த்துடன் தொடங்கியது. திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்டத்தைச் சார்ந்த வேல்டெக் மல்டி டெக் கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் உள்ளிட்டு எஸ் ஏ கலை மற்றும் அறிவியல் கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் ஆயிரம் பேர் கலந்துகொண்டு பயன்பெற்றனர். கண்காட்சியாக அமைக்கப்பட்ட அரசின் திட்டங்கள் குறித்த அரங்குகளைக் கண்டு களித்து மாணவர்கள் அரங்கில் கூடினர். கல்லூரியின் தாளாளர் திரு.ப.வெங்கடேஷ் ராஜா தலைமை தாங்கினார் வந்திருந்த அனைவரையும் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் முனைவர் மாலதி செல்வகுமார் வரவேற்று உரையாற்றினார் மாபெரும் தமிழ்க் கனவு என்னும் தலைப்பில் தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் மாணவர் கல்வி நலன் சார்ந்தும் வேலை வாய்ப்பு சார்ந்தும் காணொளிகளையும் கீழடி, இரும்பின் தொன்மை, மற்றும் ராஜ ராஜ சோழன் பற்றிய காணொளிக் காட்சியினைக் கண்டுகளித்தனர். தொடர்ந்து திருவள்ளூர் மாவட்ட வருவாய் அலுவலர் திரு சுரேஷ் அவர்கள் மாபெரும் தமிழ்க் கனவு திட்ட விளக்க உரையை வழங்கினார் விழாவில் சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர் கரு ஆறுமுகத்தமிழன் சுடர் முகம் தூக்கு எனும் தலைப்பில் மாணவர்களுக்கு தன்னம்பிக்கை உரையாற்றினார் இவரது உரை மாணவர்களுக்கு விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தும் விதமாகவும் வானவர்கள் கூர்ந்து கவனிக்கும் வண்ணம் ஈர்ப்பாகவும் அமைந்திருந்தது. விழாவின் நிறைவில் பேச்சுப் போட்டியில் கலந்து கொண்டு வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கும் வினாக்களை எழுப்பிய மாணவர்களுக்கும் சான்றிதழும் புத்தகப் பரிசுகளும் வழங்கப்பட்டன நிறைவில் கல்லூரியின் இயக்குநர் முனைவர் சாய் சத்யவதி அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார். நிறைவில் நாட்டுப் பண்ணுடன் நிகழ்ச்சி இனிதே நிறைவடைந்தது. விழாவிற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளைக் கல்லூரி நிர்வாகம் மிகச் சிறப்பாகச் செய்திருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Cyclothon 2025 Spreads the Message of Vigilance and Integrity at SACAS October 31, 2025 — As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, IndianOil in collaboration with S.A. College of Arts & Science, Thiruverkadu, organized Cyclothon 2025 under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The event aimed to promote integrity, transparency, and collective accountability in society.
The cyclothon was flagged off by Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, Director, and Dr. Malathi Selvakumar, Principal, in the presence of Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Correspondent, and senior officials from IndianOil — Shri D. Suresh Kumar, GM (Vigilance), Shri Vetri Selvakumar, CGM (Corporate Communication), Shri M. Bhaskar, DGM (Vigilance), and Shri A.R. Sivakumar, DGM (Vigilance).
Students, faculty members, and Rotaract Club volunteers participated with great enthusiasm, cycling for a cause that emphasized the importance of honesty and ethical conduct.
